Vidalia and Amethyst have proven that and even showed how their friendship helped each other out. Even if years go by, friends will always be friends no matter what. This episode has proven that long lasting friendships can work. At the end of the episode, both talk about hanging out again with their boys (Steven still a bit iffy about Onion, but has a new light). Even after many years, they are still friends who help each other out. Without the other, both wouldn’t have been the people they are today. Amethyst idolizes Vidalia as this cool punk rocker chick whom she can aspire to be. Vidalia comments Amethyst’s bold and laid back personality that inspired her to paint. It’s amazing how both inspired each other to be who they are. Vidalia relates by saying Sour Cream and Yellowtail always fight. Amethyst feels trapped between Pearl and Garnet’s fight. He calls for Amethyst so they can leave, but hears Amethyst and Vidalia talking. ![]() ![]() Steven goes to Onion’s room and freaks out a bit after some “play” time. Vidalia invites Amethyst and Steven to dinner and Amethyst accepts. They kind of act like two moms who haven’t seen each other for a while, but click as soon as they see each other. They tell Steven how they were friends and got into mischief. It may seem like they bash on each other, but that is playful banter. However, it’s amazing how both recognize and immediately embraced each other. Even they were shocked when they saw each other. However, I loved the connection between Vidalia and Amethyst.įirst off we were shocked that they both knew each other. There are already theories that he may be autistic and his behavior makes it plausible. However, he is actually a sweet boy who communicates in his own way. Seeing Onion again almost scared me at first because of “Onion Trade.” Although I will admit I would do the same thing with my small size. ![]()
